History
Records of the earliest occupants and the earliest buildings at Baildon Green stems from a cluster of weaving cottages in the 17th and 18th centuries
Baildon Green Mills (Originally Clough Mills) was constructed in the early 19th century
During WW1 the mills was used as a munitions factory.
The property was extensively damaged by fire and left derelict in 1966
The property was subsequently purchased by the Hewitt Family in 1967 and renamed Baildon Green Mills and over the last 50 years has been extensively restored to a fully useable building with multiple commercial units.
Recently renamed as Baildon Green Mills Business Centre
Baildon Green Mills Business Centre is a family run business and is comprised of a variety of different sized units with a wide range of uses.
Baildon Green Mills Business Centre enjoys panoramic views across Airedale taking in Saltaire, Shipley and across to Salts Mill
We are now one of the very few historic mills in the locality still commercially functional
Many successful businesses have operated and developed at Baildon Green Mills Business Centre and some remain tenants to this day.
As owners for over 50 years the Hewitt Family continues to invest, develop and improve the facilities at Baildon Green Mills Business Centre and it remains a integral part of the Family.
